2026 marks Lawson’s 80-year anniversary–80 years of innovation, 80 years of service, 80 years of giving back to our community, and 80 years as a proud family-owned business built on quality service and total commitment.

Lawson began in 1946, when L.D. Lawson installed Hall County’s very first air conditioning unit for a women’s clothing store on the square. From that historic moment to today, Lawson has continued to provide customers with top-tier HVAC and plumbing solutions while remaining a trusted cornerstone for our community.

Over the past decades, we have been honored to receive numerous industry and community awards, including 11 consecutive Carrier President’s Awards – an award that recognizes businesses that exceed high expectations in leadership, customer satisfaction, expertise, business growth and operational excellence.

In 2018, L.D. Lawson was selected as a member of the Carrier Hall of Fame. This honor celebrates Lawson’s dedication as one of the top Carrier dealers in the nation, recognizing a lifetime of service and profound contributions to the industry, our employees, our customers, and the community.

For 80 years, we have been passionate about community involvement. Whether giving back and getting involved in philanthropic efforts or educating and inspiring the next generation of skilled trade workers, Lawson remains dedicated to strengthening our community and investing in the future.

As we look ahead, we are excited for what’s to come.
