Meet the Lawson Staff
L.D. Lawson ~ Our founder 1919 - 2000
L.D. remained active in the day to day operations of the business until we lost him to cancer in December 2000. While we recognize that we can never fill his shoes, we pledge to strive to carry on with the integrity and dedication he displayed in his life and work.
Vince Davis ~ President
Vince oversees the commercial HVAC department and manages the day to day
business interests. Vince holds an Unrestricted HVAC License from the State
of Georgia, and has a Certificate of Authority from the State of Georgia
Department of Labor Safety Engineering Department for boiler installations.
Vince’s community activities include Lakewood Baptist Church, the Greater
Hall Chamber of Commerce & the Boys and Girls Club. He sits on the advisory
Committee of the City of Gainesville Inspection Department in the area of
HVAC and is a past participant of Leadership Hall County and Leadership
Georgia.

Debbie Lawson Davis ~ CFO
Debbie maintains the position of Corporate Secretary / Treasurer. Debbie has been involved in
many community associations and has served on the Board of Directors of The Greater Hall
Chamber of Commerce, President of the Junior League of Gainesville Hall County, Board Member
of the United Way of Hall County, Board Member of Lakeview Academy, PTA President
of Gainesville Middle School. Debbie is a graduate of Leadership Hall County and Leadership
Georgia. She is active at Lakewood Baptist Church. Vince and Debbie also keep busy with
their two teenage sons, Taylor & Travis.

Jeff Dale ~ Vice President
Jeff Dale serves as general manager of the commercial HVAC sales department including aspects of
sales, scheduling, estimation and ordering. Jeff holds an Unrestricted HVAC License from the State of
Georgia, and is a qualified Mitsubishi HVAC systems designer. He attended Gainesville Jr. College, Georgia
Southwestern and is a graduate of North Georgia College. Jeff is active in the community by his involvement
with the Gainesville Kiwanis, American Red Cross, United Way, Gainesville College Alumni Board , Leadership
Hall County and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He is married to Karen English Dale and they have two sons,
Slade & Spencer, and a daughter, Carly.

Lawrence Vandiver ~ Commercial HVAC Project Manager
Lawrence holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree and serves as a commercial HVAC project manager. Lawrence
specializes in design build needs for our customers and can assist you in any specialty air flow need.

Matthew Poole ~ Commercial Plumbing Manager
Matthew is our commercial plumbing manager and hold a State of Georgia Plumbing License. Matthew manages our
plumbing division in all areas of bidding, project coordination and installation.

Mike Marien ~ Service Manager
Mike is an electrical engineer with 30 years experience, and a Georgia State License in HVAC. He manages our
qualified service technicians in the areas of HVAC and Plumbing with a focus on continuing education and training.

David Gilbert ~ Residential Department Manager
David can handle all aspects of your residential installation needs. He holds a Residential Class HVAC License
from the State of Georgia and graduated from North Georgia Technical College as a HVAC specialist. David is certified
by EPA to handle refrigerants. He has also placed in the top 5 Carrier Residential salesmen in the State of Georgia
every year since 2000.

Kim Rich ~ Office Manager
Kim Rich manages the day to day office, clerical, payroll and human resource needs of the office. She has over 23
years of service to Lawson Air Conditioning.
