Our family-owned company employs over 50 people and serves over 14,000 satisfied customers throughout Northeast Georgia. Serving our customers with excellence is our number one goal. What sets Lawson Air Conditioning & Plumbing apart from others in the area is the fact that we have been serving the HVAC and Plumbing needs of Northeast Georgia since 1946. Our founder, L.D. Lawson began the business by installing the county’s first Air Conditioning unit for the Diana Shop, a ladies apparel store on the downtown Gainesville Square.
In 1994 we were first recognized by Carrier Corporation as a nationwide “Distinguished Dealer”, sited for outstanding performance.
1996 Lawson Air Conditioning celebrated its 50th year in business with a reception hosted by Mingledorffs, our Carrier Distributor, where commendations from the City of Gainesville, Hall County and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce were presented. We were also recognized as Georgia’s oldest exclusive Carrier dealer. In 2000 we were awarded the Gold Leadership Award from our Carrier Distributor for placing the 3rd highest sales in the state of Georgia for Carrier parts and products.
In 2006 Lawson Air Conditioning & Plumbing was named by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce as the Family Business of the Year at the Chamber’s Annual Banquet. (Pictured left: Debbie Lawson Davis, Clovie Lawson, Vince Davis)
In 2009 Lawson achieved the esteemed honor of being named a CFAD Carrier Dealer. CFAD is the Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer program. This distinction can only be earned by exhibiting ongoing, extensive training and certification of both technicians and managers plus a commitment to quality, technology and offering the Carrier brand as our lead brand. This classification is reserved for only the top Carrier Dealers in the nation. Lawson is the only CFAD dealer in Northeast Georgia.
As we look to the future, we realize that we have a rich past to live up to and to learn from. We will make every effort to continue to be a leader in the air conditioning and plumbing industries by providing quality customer service and maintaining a well trained competent work force.
